
Heinz Zander (2 October 1939 in Wolfen) is a German painter, a commercial artist and a Illustrator
From 1959 to 1964 it studied in Leipzig at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (with Bernhard Heisig). From 1967 to 1970 he was master pupil of Fritz Cremer at the academy of the arts in Berlin, since 1970 is it free lance in Leipzig where it also lives.
Spheres of activity: Painting (oil), design, illustration. Since 1965 also literary activity (novels, narrations, essays) Zander works with old masterfully oriented mark techniques. Models are Bosch, Grünewald, Altdorfer and Italian mannersists (Pontormo, Bronzino).
